Life in the Fast Lane!

I feel that I have always lived my 30 years of life in the fast lane. Yes, I did hit the big 3-0 this week. Having 2 boys really makes me realize how busy we stay. The sad thing about it, I realize that time is passing by so fast with my little ones. The picture of the babes just makes me laugh, we never can get a good picture of both boys together because one or both wants to be doing something else - typical. I stated that I didn't ever think I could blog, where would I find the time for it? Then I just decided, it would always remind me of the time I spend with all 3 of my boys (2 little ones, and the best one of all - my husband!)
The title of my blog - Oh boy! Oh boy! is because of the 2 sweet, adorable boys Ryan and I have together. Growing up (high school and college) I really didn't think about children. After Ryan and I got married we decided we were not going to discuss having children with anybody until we felt it was the right time for us, we would just simply say "We are not having kids," and for the most part people left us alone. When the time came when we decided we were ready for children, it was a SURPRISE to everyone that we were pregnant (wait I was pregnant, why does he get the "we" part of that too!) I think people were equally surprised that we were pregnant again with #2. We were always asked, "Did you plan them so close?" Our answer YES!!! So, we have been blessed with 2 boys! Now I am realizing I am trading in all my girly things (eating at Tea Rooms, going to the Ballet, etc.) for manly things (baseball, fishing, hunting, Bob (the Builder), and Thomas (the Train). Instead of eating finger foods and sipping tea, we will be at the all you can eat buffet trying to fill up the boys at the lowest cost possible!!! But, want to know the truth, I would change anything for the WORLD! BOYS ROCK!!!

I remember you telling me that you guys weren't going to have kids. That was a good plan because it was fun to be surprised! You and I can go eat at tearooms together and get pedicures while we discuss where to go get the cheapest boys cups and how many times a boy can be hit in the head before a trip to the ER! I'm glad you are blogging! Happy 30th. Or as my roommate from college says, Happy twenty tenth. :)

Yeah! Another fun blog to read. Who cares if you don't have time to blog? Just trade in your dusting and mopping time for blogging time. It is great, cheap therapy!

At least you get to eat girly food tonight!
